Her academic background is in Visual Arts where she began her initial career as a painter and sculptor. She moved on to study Professional Makeup Artistry for print, film and television. She loved it so much that she furthered her studies and earned a certificate in Special Effects Makeup in 1991. Additionally, she has trained with various celebrity hair stylists,including Patrick Cameron and Tony Lee.
